Detailed scrollwork and quilted wedding cake

While my photos are not the best, this cake did turn out very nice. The cake was iced in buttercream and then covered in a thin draping of fondant. All tiers were airbrushed with Pearl Luster Dust. The round tiers had intricate scrollwork done in royal icing and oyster colored dragees incorporated into the patterns. After the royal icing dried, it was painted, as well as the dragees, with a silver luster dust. The square tiers were"quilted", adding oyster dragees. Silk flowers finished this look of this elegant cake.
